Stephen Wiley recorded the first full-length Christian Rap album! In 1985, Wiley commercially released Bible Break, on Brentwood Records. Wiley, living in Arrow, Oklahoma at the time, attended Rhema Bible Church.

Bible Break reached the number 14th spot on Christian radio. A few years later, Spin magazine hailed Wiley as the Grand Master of Rap. 

Later in his life, Wiley served as the assistant pastor to the Crenshaw Christian Center in Los Angeles, California. Currently, Wiley is the Founder and Pastor of Praise Center Family Churches in Muskogee and Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is also the Assistant Vice President, Director of Christian Ministries, Assistant Professor of Religion, at Bacone College in Muskogee, Oklahoma where he teaches full-time.
